Do Something Kind for your New Year’s resolution

1 min read

We are excited to be launching our new Do Something Kind challenge where you can kickstart the New Year with some feel-good fundraising to support vital research.

With everything that we’ve had to endure this year, January 2021 is the perfect time to be kind to yourself, be kind to others and get sponsored to help all those affected by brain tumours.

You could do one challenge or multiple acts of kindness throughout January. Get involved on your own, with your family, at work or at school whilst observing COVID-19 safety measures. No matter where you are or who you are with, you choose acts of kindness to suit you!

If you want to be kinder to yourself, why not try a new workout routine and get sponsored to hit your fitness goals or give up alcohol and donate the money you would’ve spent to a good cause? Or you could do a series of acts of kindness for others such as cooking and delivering a meal to a neighbour or creating something special for a loved one. We’ve got lots of different ideas for being kind at home, work, school – or anywhere else – on our website.

Don’t forget to set up your JustGiving page with a target of £100 (or more!) and let people know why you are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research.

Whether you choose to be good to yourself or to others, Do Something Kind is a great way to start the New Year with some simple, motivating and rewarding fundraising to help us get closer to a cure.
