National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £30-35 million a year
Start of Brain Tumour Awareness Month
The 1st of March marks the start of Brain Tumour Awareness Month. Today at 11am, a wreath was laid at each of our Research Centres of Excellence to commemorate those lost to and those fighting brain tumours.
A poem was read and a minute silence observed at each of our dedicated Research Centres of Excellence, as well as at Brain Tumour Research’s Head Office.
Thank you to all of you who will join us in remembering those lost and those who are still fighting brain tumours.
Throughout this month we will be sharing our powerful statistics to raise awareness of brain tumours and the need for greater research funding.
March is also the month of Wear A Hat Day, our biggest campaign. Wear A Hat Day returns on Thursday 29th March 2018, this year led by our patron Caprice, a survivor of the disease.
