National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £35 million a year
Professor Silvia Marino named BNOS President

Professor Silvia Marino has been named the first female President of the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) at their annual conference in Edinburgh this week.
Silvia is Professor of Neuropathology at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). She is also Honorary Consultant Neuropathologist at Barts Health NHS Trust.
She has been leading a team of researchers focusing on glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), the most aggressive and lethal form of brain tumour, at our groundbreaking QMUL Research Centre of Excellence since 2014.
