Brain Tumour Research joins the Wales Cancer Alliance

2 min read
Brain Tumour Research is proud to announce that we joined the Wales Cancer Alliance.

The Alliance is a coalition of 20 charities working to prevent cancer, improve care, fund research and influence policy in Wales.

As a national charity, we want to represent the brain tumour community across the UK. It is of crucial importance to our mission that we work with, and use our authority and expertise to positively influence, the relevant stakeholders and organisations across all the home nations.

By working with our peers in the third sector we can help develop and shape the priorities around cancer care in Wales. The Alliance is central to this work and operates in partnership with the Welsh Government, the NHS, local government and other stakeholders.

As a charity that has engaged with the Welsh brain tumour community on a range of activities across fundraising, media, campaigning and research we look forward to working with the Alliance to improve cancer services and outcomes for patients in Wales.
