Workplaces across the country are getting hatty

2 min read

Across the UK, businesses are signing up to support vital research this Wear A Hat Day.

Having partnered with the charity for a number of years, we are delighted that Hobbycraft will once again be celebrating Wear A Hat Day with virtual events for both staff and customers.

We are also pleased that employees at insurance company Zurich are donning their hats again in memory of Amanda Pay who passed away from a brain tumour in 2018. After taking their Wear A Hat Day event online last year, Stonewood Builders will also be taking part again in support of a number of staff with their own brain tumour experiences.

The team at Aviva will be testing their knowledge with a Wear A Hat Day quiz and at Advanced Electronics Ltd an event has been organised by a team member who lost his father to a brain tumour.

Other businesses taking part are Oldham JobCentre, Home Instead York, Reed In Partnership in Newcastle upon Tyne, Menzies in Cardiff, Marks & Spencer in Bexhill, Wincanton’s Screwfix team in Stafford – and lots more.

To top it all off, we were pleased that Discount Sticker Printing – one of the UK’s largest sticker printing companies – offered us £300 worth of free stickers to support Wear A Hat Day.

There’s still plenty of time to register and get your colleagues involved in the hattastic fun on Friday 26th March. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to download our FREE digital fundraising pack with lots of ideas for taking part, as well as bunting, virtual backgrounds, quizzes and much more!
