Do it your way

Organise a DIY walk on Saturday 24th September

If our Brain Tumour Research-led walks aren’t convenient for you, don’t worry you can still get involved. Step forward to help find a cure by organising your own Walk of Hope.

Choose your route – it can be as leisurely or challenging as you like. Decide whether you’ll walk alone or get your family, friends, colleagues and community involved. Think about whether you’ll plan anything extra to boost the funds you raise on the day – you could hold a raffle, sell refreshments or take a collection bucket with you to collect donations.

When you register, you’ll have access to our FREE digital fundraising pack. This contains lots of handy resources to help you plan your DIY walk and get the most from your day.

Set up your JustGiving page or Facebook Fundraiser and when you get your first donation, we’ll send you a FREE Walk of Hope t-shirt which we hope you’ll wear with pride with every stride.

Plus, if you raise £274 or more, you’ll also receive a special Walk of Hope Hero medal in recognition of your amazing achievement. We’re asking everyone to try and raise that because it represents 10% of the cost of a day’s research at one of our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence. Don’t worry if it seems like a high target – we’re on hand to help you every step of the way.

Lots of people are already planning their Walk of Hope, so what are you waiting for? Register today and let’s stride towards a cure together.

Please enter your post code and select your address from the list.
Are you registering as an adult, group of adults or a family?
Do you require more than one t-shirt? If so, please list the sizes below. However, please note that we need to be mindful of how many t-shirts we provide free of charge so one of our friendly fundraising team will contact you to discuss your t-shirt requirements before we post them out.

If you have 6 or more members in your group and require additional t-shirts beyond the ones listed above, please contact us at fundraising@braintumourresearch.org

Your support is helping us build a network of experts in sustainable brain tumour research and influence the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.

By registering for Walk of Hope, you are providing consent for us to contact you by post, phone, email and text message about this event. This does not affect your overall contact preferences you choose below and/or have chosen with us already.

We would also love to keep you posted with news on our research, events, campaigns and appeals. Your details will only be used by Brain Tumour Research in adherence to our privacy policy. We will never give your information to other organisations to use for their own purposes. If you already receive marketing communications from us, this will be unaffected by a box being left blank on this form.
