Wear Grey to raise awareness

1 min read

Our sister charity, brainstrust, needs you to Wear Grey this week to help raise awareness of brain tumours.

From 2nd to 8th October, the charity is asking people to don grey attire to help show patients they are not alone, to raise the profile of this devastating disease and to raise vital funds to help ensure everyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis gets the support they need to live their best life possible.

This year, brainstrust is also asking supporters to ‘chalk for change’, drawing a grey ribbon for brain tumour awareness and including #WearGrey, donating £5 to the charity, and passing it on to build momentum.

Launched in 2012, Wear Grey is part of the legacy of Shaun Skinner who, after his own diagnosis in 2007, became a passionate advocate for the brain tumour community. Sadly, Shaun died in 2017, but Wear Grey continues in his memory.
