Tania’s Advent message in memory of mum

1 min read

On the fifth day of our Advent Appeal, our Community Fundraiser shares a message in memory of her beloved mum.

Tania Faverzani joined the charity in October 2021 and supports our fundraisers in the North West. Her inspiration is her mum, Judi Morgan, who died of a glioblastoma (GBM) in January 2008, just a year after she was diagnosed.

Tania, who has raised more than £7,000 for Brain Tumour Research through a range of fundraising activities, said: “The Advent Appeal is a great campaign to try and raise awareness of brain tumours, which have a devastating effect on families. They kill more children and people under the age of 40 than any other cancer and yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to the disease since records began in 2002. I’d encourage anyone who can to donate to the appeal.”
