Our ‘Carnival of Colour’ hat auction is now live

An exclusive collection of 15 bespoke hats made by British-based milliners is being auctioned to raise money for Brain Tumour Research in the quest to find a cure.

We are proud to be partnering with The British Hat Guild and The Jockey Club for a third year to exhibit the carnival-inspired haute couture headpieces which have been designed by industry leaders including Stephen Jones OBE, Lisa Tan and Jane Taylor, whose creations have been worn by royalty and A-listers alike.

A Carnival of Colour was exhibited at the Epsom Downs Racecourse Spring Meeting on 27th April where some of our supporters modelled the one-off masterpieces, as pictured above (credit: The Jockey Club and John Hoy).

Gogglebox’s Lisa Baggs (left) showcased “Venice” by Lai Hats, while Kelsey Parker, widow of boyband The Wanted’s Tom Parker who died of a glioblastoma (GBM), wore “Pretty Polly” by Lisa Tan Millinery. They were joined by pals Samie Elishi, who previously appeared on Love Island, Kelsey-Ann Bowden and Gemma Whittaker, alongside Cara Delahoyde-Massey, also from Love Island, and stylist Sarah Parker.

We were delighted to welcome supermodel, actress and entrepreneur Caprice Bourret to the event, where she donned “Jamboree” by Vivien Sheriff. Caprice is a Patron and long-time supporter of the charity, following her shock meningioma diagnosis, and subsequent successful surgical intervention, in 2017.

The collection will also be shown at The Betfair Derby Festival at Epsom (31st May – 1st June) where Brain Tumour Research is a charity partner.

The auction is now live (from 6th May) until 12pm on Monday 10th June. One or more of these showstoppers could be yours and the money raised will help to fund the fight to stop brain tumours from devastating lives.

Will you place a bid to help find a cure for all types of brain tumours?
