Mum shares Advent Appeal

A woman who lost her 30-year-old son to a brain tumour is helping to save lives by taking part in our Advent Appeal.

Andi Peel (pictured front right with mum Linda front left) died from a glioblastoma (GBM) in January 2023, following a three-year battle. Since his diagnosis, his family and friends have raised more than £18,000 through a number of fundraising challenges and, only last week, Andi’s friend Josh Burniston completed 12 marathons in 12 days, raising a further £8,000.

Mum Linda has shared her story to remind people why research into brain tumours is so important.

In her video, Linda says: “Andi fought really bravely for three years, but sadly passed away in January this year. This disease is devastating; what it takes from people is awful.
