Our Christmas Wish

James Hinnigan

"I feel like I’m back on my two feet again… my family is happy and we can look forward to a wonderful Christmas together.

“I’m putting the past behind me but it’s important to me to give hope to people who are in the same situation I was three years ago. The future is still uncertain but there is life after a brain tumour diagnosis and things can get better.” – James

Christmas will be extra special for James and his family this year. After overcoming a brain tumour diagnosis in 2015, James is spreading a message of hope this festive season.

Following his diagnosis, James underwent surgery and his prognosis was positive but he was unemployed and increasingly isolated as he was medically unfit to drive. James soon began to struggle with depression and anxiety all whilst being a dad to Cameron and welcoming his second child, Rose.

Now, for the first time in three years, James can look forward to a truly special Christmas with his family, free from worry and emotional challenges.

James wants to inspire others facing this devastating disease and help the charity to fund the fight.
