Listen to the six o’clock news on BBC Radio 4 to see what’s breaking of interest to the brain tumour community

If you could do another job, what would it be?

I like the idea of being an actor and taking on another personality for a short time, it seems both challenging and fun

What makes you happy?

Long straight drives and holing tricky putts! [on the golf course]

What do you want to achieve in this field?

In the six and a half years I have been with the charity so much has changed, but there’s still so much to do to improve options and outcomes for those devastated by this cruel disease

What is your favourite hat?

My black porkpie made by iconic US hat-maker Stetson

Who inspires you?

Brain tumour warrior Carl Piddington. He has done and continues to do more for our community than he’ll ever know

What is your favourite memory?

Ah. The sports car I had before starting a family!

What has been your biggest challenge?

Keeping the need for more brain tumour research funding as high on the news agenda as it should rightly be.
