National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £30-35 million a year
Our 10th Wear A Hat Day is here!
Friday 29th of March marks the culmination of Brain Tumour Awareness Month and also our biggest national fundraising campaign, Wear A Hat Day.
Thousands are taking part in Wear A Hat Day 2019, including branches across the country of our two national corporate partners, Hobbycraft and Specsavers.
We are a leading voice calling for greater support and action for research into what scientists are calling the last battleground against cancer, and Wear A Hat Day has now become synonymous with our mission to build a network of experts in sustainable research at our dedicated UK Centres of Excellence whilst influencing the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally. As one newspaper said, Wear A Hat Day is like the Red Nose Day for Brain Tumours!
This is our 10th Wear A Hat Day and, since we started this annual event back in 2010, it has raised well over £1,000,000 for Brain Tumour Research.
Thank you to each and every one of you who is taking part and helping raise important awareness and vital funds to help us find a cure for this devastating disease.
