National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £35 million a year

Next meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours (APPGBT)

Three years on from our 120,000 signature e-petition and the publication of the Petitions Committee’s report 'Funding for research into brain tumours', the next meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours (APPGBT) will hear the latest on the work taking place to drive forward its recommendations, as well as developments arising from the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission, in which our Chief Executive has a leading role in the Steering Group.

It is vital that we keep MPs aware of the political progress that is being made to help brain tumour patients, but also of the challenges that need overcoming to help us find a cure.

The next meeting takes place on Tuesday 12th March 2019 and will also examine the topic of supporting young brain tumour patients in their education, an issue raised in last year’s APPGBT Inquiry into the economic and social costs of this devastating disease.

Please urge your MP to attend the meeting. Your constituency MP will listen to you – we couldn’t engage them without your help!

You can use our simple email template to contact your MP and urge them to attend.
