National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £35 million a year
Senator John McCain legacy aims at supporting future research into brain tumours

John McCain’s family have announced on his memorial website that they will raise funds for a research position at the non-profit Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen).
The full name of the position will be the John S. McCain III Endowed Chair in Brain Cancer Research and it will focus on improving treatments and finding a cure for glioblastoma, the aggressive brain tumour that killed Senator McCain just over a year after his diagnosis.
