National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £35 million a year
Our supporter Mel raises awareness nationally
Mel Mirza, pictured on the left with her sister Nikki, has confronted her brain tumour diagnosis head on and remains upbeat and alert to any medical and dietary advancements that might help her. She is angry at the lack of research funding and the lack of options for people in her position. She realises that awareness raising is key and so has told a comprehensive version of her story to the Daily Mirror Online.
