Scotland Supporter Get Together
We are excited to announce our inaugural meeting for Brain Tumour Research supporters across Scotland.
The event will take place on 7th November in the Smith Room of the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood, Edinburgh.
Kindly hosted by Alexander Stewart MSP, guests will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the Brain Tumour Research charity.
Our Research Manager Katie Sheen will talk about the vital work being undertaken at our UK Centres of Excellence and how our funding of a tissue bank in Southampton is allowing researchers across the UK to further research into all types of brain tumour.
Our Regional Community Fundraising Manager Joe Woollcott will also share ideas for getting involved and tips for maximising your fundraising, regardless of what kind of activity you might be doing or want to do for us.
Alexander will share his campaigning activities as he calls for increased awareness around brain tumours in Scotland.
We’re dedicated to raising awareness of this devastating disease across the country and we are working to bring the UK to the forefront of research in what scientists are calling the last battleground against cancer. We hope you can join us.
Together we will find a cure for brain tumours.
