Wear A Hat Day 2019
Help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
Get your work colleagues involved in Wear A Hat Day for Brain Tumour Research
We’re calling on you and your work colleagues to join us on Friday 29th March to take part in Wear A Hat Day 2019, one of the UK’s most spectacular events raising funds and awareness for vital research into brain tumours.
By getting involved in Wear A Hat Day you’ll engage, inspire and motivate your employees while providing them with professional and personal development opportunities and helping to achieve your fundraising objectives.
Wear A Hat Day is great fun and brings the whole of your business together, from Boards of Directors to the most junior staff, thereby encouraging loyalty and building teamwork.
It’s also a great way of demonstrating your company's values to your customers and suppliers and will boost your brand profile. Join the thousands of people in workplaces across the country taking part in colourful, hat-themed fundraising events.
Wear A Hat Day helps fund our pioneering research
Thanks to you, Wear A Hat Day, brings hope for the future to the tens of thousands of people diagnosed and living with a brain tumour.
In 2018, businesses helped raise over £300,000 to fund our cause - building a network of experts in sustainable research at dedicated Centres of Excellence whilst influencing the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.
With your help, we can raise even more in 2019.
“Wear A Hat Day makes a huge difference to research into brain tumours. The funds granted to my team are opening up world-first ways of finding more effective therapies for brain tumour patients. The Brain Tumour Research charity is not only providing essential support, but they also offer – along with their immense family of supporters and activists – tangible hope. Hope for the future. Hope for patients. Hope for families. Hope for a cure.” – Professor Silvia Marino, Director of Research at our Centre of Excellence in Queen Mary University of London.
Can’t take part on March 29th? No problem, just choose another day in March that’s more suitable and be sure to let us know when completing your registration form.

Great Event Ideas
Wear A Hat Day could be something simple – getting your colleagues to wear a hat and donate on the day would be great – but maybe you could make a day of it?
Organise hat quizzes and competitions, have a hatty lunch, hold a hat-themed bake-sale or stage a hattastic fashion show.
Any fundraising event can be enhanced by buying our unique plush hats and selling our Wear A Hat Day merchandise, which includes wristbands and our collectable pin badges.
Spread the Word!
