Event postponed. The UK’s highest freefall abseil on the UK’s tallest sculpture is the adrenaline-fuelled way to see London at 262 feet above the city.
This event has been rescheduled due to Covid-19. We will endeavour to keep this information as accurate as possible, however please check with the event organisers if you have any questions or concerns.

Challenge yourself by taking on an abseil down the ArcelorMittal Orbit at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. This is a thrilling 80 metre free-fall abseil down the UK’s tallest sculpture from a dedicated platform to the ground in the care of an experience team of abseilers and raise funds for research into brain tumours through sponsorship.

Participants must be at least 14 years old. Participants between 14-17 years old need parental consent.

Weight / Height restrictions;

  • Be over 1.2 metres in height.
  • Be less than 19 stone (120kg) in weight.
  • Be able to wear a harness which has a maximum width waist of 130 cm and a maximum upper thigh width of 75cm.
  • NB: Those with Disabilities are able to take part in this event following consultation with Wire and Sky.
