The Cobbler Walk of Hope – Ben Arthur, Scotland
The Cobbler is one of the Southern Highlands most iconic hill walks. So called for its distinctive shape. The route is a challenging 7 miles and has a fairly steep ascent. We estimate it will take between 4 and 6 hours to complete, and at the peak there should be magnificent views of Loch Lomond and beyond. Pray for clear skies!
The walk starts in Arrochar near the head of Loch Long. We’ve teamed up with the Slanj pub in Tarbet again. They’re kindly providing us with free parking and food and a drink to come back to!
There are many camp sites, hotels and B&Bs nearby, or you can park your campervan at the Slanj free of charge.
The Slanj are offering to keep us well-nourished on the day, for just £5 with a bacon roll before we start at 10 O'Clock and hearty soup and roll at the end
