A Night at the Zoo
We are proud to announce an exclusive fundraising event hosted by Dartmoor Zoo. Set in 30 acres of stunning Devon countryside, Dartmoor Zoo is a wonderful venue and we invite you to join us for this unique opportunity.
Benjamin Mee, owner of Dartmoor Zoo, lost his wife Katherine Carnegie to a brain tumour in 2007 and his story inspired the Hollywood film, We Bought A Zoo, starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson.
Ben is an influential and dedicated ambassador for Brain Tumour Research and has previously joined us at several lobbying events in Westminster.
A series of special activities and attractions will be laid out on the evening, including:
- After-hours admission to the zoo and its 200 different species
- ‘Close encounters classroom’ with selected members of the menagerie
- Magic and entertainment show from a top UK magician
- Special presentation about brain tumour research
- Auction and raffle with range of excellent prizes
- Buffet supper, bar and disco
The event will take place on Sunday 13th of August from 6.00pm till midnight.
Buy Tickets directly from Dartmoor Zoo website. Tickets are £15 each. At least 50% of the entry fee will go towards Brain Tumour Research and there will be many additional ways to help fund the fight against brain tumours on the night!
