Ride for Research
Cycling has never been a more popular way of fundraising for charity. There are some great national cycling events you can join, or you can do your own thing, on your own, as a family, or as a larger group of friends and colleagues. Whatever you do, you’ll help us to be #QuickerToACure.
Cycling fundraising ideas to help you plan your activity:
- Join an organised cycling event, such as Prudential RideLondon 2020, the greatest show on the road, which has now gone virtual this year meaning more people than ever can take part
- Create a cycle adventure around the UK, with typical fun challenges being north to south, east to west, around the coast, etc or thinking further afield, you could take on a more gruelling desert ride for example
- Feel the fun on a relaxing day out, wheeling about with family and friends, doing 20 laps of your local park maybe
- Young or old, fit or frail why not overcome adversity and challenge yourself to achieve an amazing cycling target that will inspire everyone – just like Captain Tom or little Tony Hudgell with their walking
