Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.

Community Fundraiser - East Midlands

Brain Tumour Research is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to further their career in fundraising, whilst making a difference at one of the most innovative and ambitious medical research fundraising charities in the UK as Community Fundraiser. 

Position: Community Fundraiser – East Midlands

Location: Home based, withing Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire or Rutland 

Salary: Circa £28,500 pa

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum , excluding UK Public Holidays, access to a Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

As Community Fundraiser for East Midlands, you will help deliver our strategic plans and objectives, by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities. Our community fundraisers also help raise awareness by engaging people with our work, and recruiting and supporting the fundraising of individuals, challenge event participants, our Fundraising Groups and Charity of the Year partnerships.

Position: Supporter Care Administrator

Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes

Salary: Circa £21,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time 35 hour pw

To manage merchandise and stock to ensure timely and accurate recording of stock movements and sales. To answer the main telephone line in a sensitive and professional manner.

As an Office Administrator, you will be a key part of the fulfilment process, using Shopify, aiding our fundraisers and supporters to achieve maximum income generation, answering calls and emails from our supporters and fundraisers, with a focus on the supporter journey by being sensitive and empathetic, while raising awareness.

Database Assistant

Brain Tumour Research is looking for a Database Assistant to ensure our data is accurate and up to date, for key stakeholders to make informed decisions and continue to fulfil Brain Tumour Research’s purpose of finding a cure for all types of Brain Tumours. The Database Assistant will report to the Systems Manager, conducting regular data uploads, generating reports for analysis and providing basic IT support.

Position: Database Assistant

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – Six months

Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. We offer a hybrid working model, where team members are expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days per week.

Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum , excluding UK Public Holidays, death in service policy, access to a Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK while developing their knowledge and understanding of how data can support an organisation.

As Database Assistant, you will be supporting the Finance and Operations team to deliver high quality reporting and analysis to the rest of the charity. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage data flows in and out of the CRM database.

Contract / Hours: Fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) / Full time, 35 hours per week
