Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.
Our vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. Our mission is to increase the UK investment in brain tumour research.

Trusts and Foundations Manager
Brain Tumour Research is looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to raise restricted and unrestricted income in order to meet our objectives, producing high quality, bespoke proposals and reports.
Position: Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager
Location: Milton Keynes, Head Office, we offer a hybrid working model
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, access to a Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK.
The Trusts and Foundations Manager is a new role within Brain Tumour Research, the purpose of this position is to raise restricted and unrestricted income for Brain Tumour Research and our charitable objectives from trusts and foundations, producing high quality, bespoke proposals and reports.
The successful candidate will also develop and maintain appropriate relationships with trusts, foundations and their representatives, ensuring the highest quality of stewardship and cultivation.
About You
If you would like to join an exciting, innovative, and ambitious charity, with a passion for finding a cure for brain tumours, then we would love to hear from you.
Do you have:
- Experience in securing major gifts from trusts and donations
- A good understanding of the principles of trust fundraising, including identification, research, solicitation and stewardship of funders
- Experience working towards, and meeting income targets
- Experience of creating successful bespoke proposals and applications for trusts and foundations
