Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.

Systems Analyst (12-month contract)

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong analytical and excellent IT skills to drive the efficiency and performance of the charity by reviewing existing systems and business processes, recommending and implementing improvements, additional functionality and data integration. Conduct a full review of the Brain Tumour Research Process Manual and ensure all processes are relevant and fit for purpose and updated as required.

Reporting to our Director of Finance and Operations, duties will include:

  • Conduct a full systems and processes review to increase accuracy and productivity
  • Lead a cross-functional team on a matrix basis to deliver process and systems improvements
  • Create systems and user documentation, support users on change control and systems updates, and deliver user training as required
  • Review management reporting requirements and develop to meet ongoing requirements of the Charity

Proficient in CRM and other systems, and advanced working knowledge of Excel. Formal project management qualification preferred.

Salary:  Circa £30-35k p.a. depending on experience (initial 12-month contract term)

Hours of work: 9–5 plus reasonable additional hours necessary to perform duties
