Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.
Our vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. Our mission is to increase the UK investment in brain tumour research.
Following a year of change we are looking to grow our team in order to increase our contribution to the national investment in brain tumour research and to do more of our vital campaigning work in line with our 2025 strategy.

Management Accountant
Brain Tumour Research is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in financial planning and analysis, and an eagerness for people management, to make a difference at one of the most innovative and ambitious medical research fundraising charities in the UK as Management Accountant.
Position: Management Accountant
Location: Head office in Milton Keynes – hybrid working (minimum of 3 days in the office)
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, access to a Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

About the Role
Brain Tumour Research is a growing charity with a diverse range of exciting and fast-paced campaigns and activities. The Management Accountant will lead a small team towards providing robust and insightful financial information and analysis to enable agile and well-informed decisions towards the charity’s objectives.
About You
Are you someone who is ambitious, curious and fun to work with? Are you task focused, organised and enjoy a challenge?
Do you have experience in:
- Delivering high quality financial analysis in a fast-paced environment?
- Communicating and influencing financial decision making at all levels of an organisation?
- Leading and developing a team and its processes towards improvement and success?
