Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.
Our vision is to find a cure for brain tumours. Our mission is to build a network of experts in sustainable research at seven dedicated Centres of Excellence.
Following a year of change we are looking to grow our team in order to increase our contribution to the national investment in brain tumour research and to do more of our vital campaigning work in line with our 2025 strategy.

Head of Digital Infrastructure

We are looking for a Strategic, yet hands on Head of Digital Infrastructure who will develop and deliver a digital infrastructure that will enable us to achieve our ambitious growth targets.

Having bucked the trend during the pandemic, Brain Tumour Research is determined to continue its growth trajectory. Salary: up to £50,000
Line Management: Digital Marketing Officer – Website & SEO, Digital Marketing Executive, Junior Digital Data Analyst
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the continued development of our website and digital channels infrastructure to support our overall growth ambitions
- Developing the digital roadmap and executing the digital strategy by working across the charity to maximise engagement and take-up of digital tools and services to drive growth and operating efficiencies
- Focusing on delivering a growth strategy through data driven innovation and a test and learn culture, lead the development, operation and optimisation of our digital capability to build our supporter base, drive engagement and increase income
- Supporting the planning and implementation of web-based marketing strategies and campaigns, establishing a best practice framework to maximise efficiency, consistency and effectiveness
