Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.
Our vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. Our mission is to increase the UK investment in brain tumour research.

Executive Assistant
Brain Tumour Research is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to use their administrative skills and knowledge and experience of supporting senior management, whilst making a difference at one of the most innovative and ambitious medical research fundraising charities in the UK, as Executive Assistant.
Position: Executive Assistant
Location: Head office in Milton Keynes – hybrid working (minimum of 3 days in the office)
Salary: Circa £32,500 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days (rising to 30 with service) per annum, plus UK Public Holidays, life assurance, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme

About the Role
Brain Tumour Research is a growing charity with a diverse range of exciting and fast-paced campaigns and activities. The Executive Assistant will provide support to the Chief Executive and Leadership Team, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, gathering and supplying the necessary information to the Leadership team in preparation for meetings. The Executive Assistant will also be responsible for responding to initial enquiries, handling when appropriate, and completing other ad hoc duties such as arranging travel and accommodation for the Chief Executive. The Executive Assistant will also take on the administrative responsibility of organising events for senior management, for example Trustee meetings, Research Workshops, etc.
About You
Are you someone who is detail orientated, organised and able to multitask and prioritise? Are you looking for a role in an ambitious organisation and enjoy a challenge?
Do you have experience in:
- Working as an executive assistant or personal assistant to senior management?
- Working for a charity?
- Organising meetings and events for senior management?
