Success Charity Conference set for Saturday 21st November

1 min read

Many survivors of brain tumours treated in childhood continue to struggle with lifelong, life-altering disabilities and complications as a result of both their tumour and treatment.

Success Charity exists to advocate for, and provide survivors with, the rehabilitative care and support they need and deserve, and to ensure brighter futures for childhood brain tumour survivors.

Their 4th annual survivors’ conference is being held virtually on Saturday 21st November.

The aim of the event is to create a supportive community enabling young survivors and their families to meet and connect, develop new networks of peer support and reduce feelings of isolation.

The conference will feature Success Charity Patron, Dominic Grieve QC, as well as Derek Thomas MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours, and Chief Executive of Brain Tumour Research, Sue Farrington Smith MBE, as well as health professionals and experts, plus inspiring stories from survivors and their families.
