July meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours

1 min read

The next meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours (APPGBT) takes place on Tuesday 17th July 2018. The meeting will review a momentous year for all of those involved in brain tumour campaigning and hopes to hear from a representative of the Department of Health & Social Care to outline their future plans to facilitate improved outcomes for brain tumour patients and their families.

There will also be an update on the APPGBT’s ongoing Inquiry into the economic and social impacts of brain tumours.

So much has been achieved by the brain tumour community over the last year. Thanks to our activists, scores of MPs have backed the cause whether through signing the Brain Tumour Pledge, asking Parliamentary Questions, sitting on the APPGBT Inquiry Panel or attending APPGBT meetings.

Please encourage your MP to attend next month’s meeting using our email template.

Whether it is building research capacity, expanding access to brain tumour tissue or developing new brain tumour drugs, we need the support of all politicians to advance our cause.
