Our Fundraising Groups
16,000 people diagnosed with a brain tumour every year
Our amazing family and fighting force of passionate groups all joining the fight against brain tumours, fundraising for vital research to get us closer to a cure.
Brain Tumour Research relies on the support of so many inspirational people, many of whom have been affected either personally by a brain tumour or who have witnessed the pain and suffering of someone close to them. These wonderful people have set up their own Fundraising Groups under our umbrella in order to raise desperately needed funds for brain tumour research.
By joining the Brain Tumour Research family, all our Fundraising Groups enjoy the security and support of a nationally recognised charity with access to a range of materials and merchandise - including fundraising packs and T-shirts - as well as marketing, PR and fundraising support, and great campaign ideas.
If you want to help by setting up your own Fundraising Group, please do not hesitate to contact the team on 01908 867200 or by email.
Cat in a Hat
Tragically, it became clear that chemotherapy wasn’t slowing regrowth of the tumour and Cat lost her brave battle on 14th June 2017, aged just 38. Her friends and family, including Cat’s father, Rab, (despite his nursing background) were all shocked to find that brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and will continue to raise awareness and funds to help find more effective treatments and ultimately the cure which is so desperately needed.
