RESEARCH... is in its infancy, with very little known about the behaviour
of brain tumours

Brain Tumour Research represents the united campaign voice of the Brain Tumour Research Group of charities.  The charity Brain Tumour Research was established specifically to raise substantial funds for brain tumour research and operates as a separate entity to the member charities.

Funds raised will be allocated to existing UK centres where brain tumour research is already being carried out.  Funds will be granted following an invitation for applications and will be subject to peer review.  Brain tumour research projects, currently being undertaken and funded by the members, are underway at the following centres:

Institute of Neurology, University College London
University of Nottingham
Northern Institute for Cancer Research, University of Newcastle
University of Portsmouth
The Royal Marsden
Barts and the London
Leeds Institute for Molecular Medicine
Frenchay Hospital, Bristol
Charing Cross Hospital
