This is also your opportunity to raise funds for vital research into brain tumours by asking your friends and colleagues to sponsor your Challenge Event. You can set up a Just Giving page through Brain Tumour Research at www.justgiving.com or request a sponsorship form from Sarah.
If you can help us to support the participants and events during the day – please contact Glyn Lewis on 01296 733011 or 07809 701228
Events on offer are:
This event will be launched at 11am by John Bercow, MP for Buckingham and Speaker of the House of Commons. With up to six people per lane you can choose to swim as many lengths as you can over one, two or even three hours.
With eight running machines available from 9am to 4pm participants could notch up 211 miles between them. Enough to get them to Paris and beyond! We’ll record the miles on a flipchart and see how close our runners get!
With seven bikes (four normal and three laid back) available from 9am to 4pm participants could cycle 874 miles between them enough to get them from Lands End to John O’Groats! We’ll record the miles on a flipchart and see how far everyone gets!
Why not undertake the ultimate challenge and do an hour each of all three: Running, Cycling and Swimming. Finishing off with swimming there are two start times for this event 9am and 10am.
Thirteen bikes are available between 1pm and 4pm so why not challenge yourself and spin for one, two or even three hours.
This fun but exhausting event led by a professional Zumba teacher will have you learning new moves. Taking place between 9am and 12noon, see how long you can keep going - Will you Zumba, for an hour, two hours or three?
