Grand Union Canal, Milton Keynes to Leighton Buzzard or vice versa
Join us as we weave our way along the Grand Union canal, escaping for the day from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With some great pubs along the way, amazing wildlife, wonderful views, colourful boats and a wealth of history, it will be a great day out for all the family.
This is also your opportunity to raise funds for vital research into brain tumours by asking your friends and colleagues to sponsor you. You can set up a Just Giving page through Brain Tumour Research at www.justgiving.com or request a sponsorship form from Sarah@braintumourresearch.org

From the Black Horse to The Grand Union, or vice versa, is approx 11 miles and we have organised a mini bus to take you back to your car or if you want to take on the round trip that’s 22 miles! See Map here.

You can pay for registration over the phone by contacting Brain Tumour Research on 01296 733011 up until 4pm on Friday 28th September.
Alternatively bring Cash or Cheque made payable to ‘Brain Tumour Research’ on the day.
Registration, briefings and set-off starts at 9.30am and closes at 10.30am, with tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches available to buy from both start points.
Finish time no later than 5.30pm, mini-bus available from 2pm.
Refreshments are available en-route at the pubs from 10am, picnics at various places en-route are allowed. If you are planning to stop at one of the pubs for lunch, please book to save disappointment.

Miles walked for this event will go towards The International Brain Tumour Alliance Walk Around the World for Brain Tumoursinitiative www.theibta.org. Sponsorship money raised will be used to fund vital research into brain tumours.
